Scott joined Mediland in July 2018 as CEO after leaving AstraZeneca (AZ). His latest position was Market Access Manager for South Africa, based in Johannesburg, where he was responsible for driving AZ market access strategy countrywide. He was previously a Country Lead for AZ responsible for all commercial operations in Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia as part of SSA senior management structure. He brings to Mediland 21 years of experience across the pharmaceutical value chain. 

He started his career in London, UK, where he worked for over 6 years holding leadership positions in companies such as TESCO PLC (UK). Scott is a Member of Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, Botswana Health Professionals Council, and Fellow of Pharmaceutical Society of Botswana. He is a recipient of several awards in recognition of his work in the sector both within Botswana, SADC region as well as at Federation of African Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (FAPMA).
